The auditions of the Second Round of the Galina Vishnevskaya II International Opera Singers Competition held on 22^nd, 23^rd and 24^th of May in the Opera Centre, are now through. At 6 pm the Jury headed by Galina Vishnevskaya had announced the names of those who has been admitted to the Third Round:

The Third Round will take place in the Opera Centre on the 26^th of May. The contestants are to perform two arias or scenes from operas, one of which must be Russian. The pretenders for the victory will perform accompanied by the Moscow symphonic orchestra "Russian Philharmonic", conducted by Ilmars Lapinsch. Beginning at 6 pm.
